Activities of the GENTEN Research Center at Science Tokyo have officially begun.
GENTEN promotes “Human-centered science,” connecting: Body → Life → Environment → Space → Culture
Beyond sports science, we aim to integrate medicine, engineering, life science, information science, and culture to explore human potential while protecting safety, fairness, and well-being.
Young researchers from diverse fields have also joined GENTEN, including:
functional biology and sleep research using Hydra, hypoxia adaptation, bioinformatics, sports safety and anti-doping science. It is a rare interdisciplinary environment connecting life science, human performance, and technology. We look forward to creating new value through research, education, and social implementation.
東京科学大学 GENTEN Research Center の活動がスタートしました。身体 → 生命 → 環境 → 宇宙 → 文化 をつなぎ、人間の可能性を探究する Human-centered science を推進していきます。
スポーツ科学にとどまらず、医工学・生命科学・情報科学・文化を融合し、安全・公正・ウェルビーイングを重視した新しい人間科学の創出を目指します。さらに、ヒドラや睡眠など生命起源を探究する生物学、低酸素環境適応、Bioinformatics、スポーツセーフティやアンチドーピングなど、多様な若手研究者が集まり、分野横断的な研究が始まっています。今後、研究・教育・社会実装を通じて、新たな価値創出に挑戦していきます。 宜しくお願い致します！
